Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay) Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays) Three samples of known concentration were tested six times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Spike Recovery
The spike recovery was evaluated by spiking 3 levels of human CCL13/MCP-4 into health human serum sample. The un-spiked serum was used as blank in this experiment.
The recovery ranged from 80% to 120% with an overall mean recovery of 100%.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Serum | 30 | 22.30-140.00 | 100 | 75.86 |
Serum/Plasma – Thirty samples from apparently healthy volunteers were evaluated for the presence of CCL13/MCP-4 in this assay. No medical histories were available for the donors.
Product Data Sheet
Background: CCL13/MCP-4
Human MCP-4, also known as CCL13, encodes a 98 amino acid (aa) precursor protein with a 23 aa hydrophobic signal peptide that is cleaved to yield an 8 kDa, 75 aa mature MCP-4. Mature MCP-4 lacks any potential N-glycosylation sites and shares a pyroglutamate proline motif with other human MCP proteins.
