Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay) Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.

Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays) Three samples of known concentration were tested six times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.

Spike Recovery

The spike recovery was evaluated by spiking 3 levels of human TNF RⅡ/TNFRSF1B into health human serum sample. The un-spiked serum was used as blank in this experiment.
The recovery ranged from 97% to 120% with an overall mean recovery of 115%.

Serum 30 24.09-59.68 100 34.98

Serum/Plasma – Thirty samples from apparently healthy volunteers were evaluated for the presence of TNF RⅡ/TNFRSF1B in this assay. No medical histories were available for the donors.

Background: TNF RII/TNFRSF1B

TNF RII (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor II), also known as TNFRSF1B, p75/p80, and CD120b, is a widely expressed receptor for membrane-associated TNF-alpha and Lymphotoxin-alpha. Its activation initiates pro-inflammatory and pro-survival responses via NFkB-dependent signaling pathways, although it may also induce apoptosis.
